VIVO IQOO Review All Information Here

The Vivo IQ00 has in-built gaming optimization software, along with which it also features gameplay sensors on the display screen and a vapor cooling chamber, a very unique feature that gained much attention among pro smartphone gamers. Because with its excellent gaming features it offers better performance and has a higher storage system.

2 MP f/2.4, a depth camera and LED flash
        • GPU Adreno 640

    Design & Case

When we talk about the case, just like other modern smartphones in the market, IQOO comes with a blend of metal and glass for its outer frame.

Vivo has adorned the company’s branding with attractive colors with a blooming finish on the back glass. The LED strip at the center adds a nice touch to the back. Vivo IQOO comes in three brilliant color variants: Plain black, Optic Blue and Crimson Orange.

IQOO looks hefty though, but not like ordinary gaming smartphones that look very bulky. The Vivo IQOO weighs 190g which is slim enough to be a gaming phone. The metal, shining -smooth surface makes this phone even more attractive than any other gaming smartphone such as Xiaomi Black Shark.

    Software & Hardware Installation

The Vivo IQOO also has amazing FunTouch OS, a customized version of Android 9.0 Pie. FunTouch OS works wonderfully with Android 9.0 pie but needs some time to acclimatize with the internal condition.

The FunTouch Operating system includes numerous language options, but the translations for the languages are often limited or sometimes non-existing. Moreover, Vivo IQOO is pre-installed with various apps, as per the Chinese market standards.

The Vivo IQOO model offers a range of storage and RAM which varies from model to model. The phone has the fastest Snapdragon 855 processor along with 128GB ROM and 6GB of RAM pre-installed by default. Vivo IQOO also allows storage upgradation to 8GB or 12GB of RAM as per user’s choice. Vital games need a huge amount of storage space, and for that upgradation becomes necessary.

Just if you didn’t know, there’s also a variant of Vivo IQOO available in 256GB storage with in-built 8GB of RAM.

If you frequently download a lot of games, you’ll definitely want to switch for a 256GB storage option in the forthcoming future. Also, there is no microSD slot for external storage, thus, we suggest you go for a 256GB storage option in the first place, so you don’t have to pay more on upgradation.

    Communication, Navigation, and Connectivity

The Vivo IQOO supports GSM, 3G/4G and LTE networks, which of course is expected from any new technology smartphones. The phone uses Cat. 12 for the latter, which considerably gives up to 600 Mb/s download and 100 Mb/s upload internet speed.

Along with this, the IQOO supports Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and almost all Wi-Fi standards to date i.e IEEE 802.11ac. Better surfing speed in a mid-range budget-friendly smartphone is truly amazing.

The new Vivo IQOO uses Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and GPS for navigation and location services which are enough to track your location in any range. Sometimes the range is not accurate, but that totally depends on your actual location.

The Vivo IQOO allows LTE on both SIM slots. It does not support voice over LTE VoLTE or VoWiFi. Making it difficult to connect easily.

The Vivo IQOO has a powerful USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging along with a 3.5 mm jack which keeps the smartphone apart from most modern flagships. Unfortunately, streaming DRM-protected content is not present because IQOO is certified only up to DRM Widevine L3.

    Camera

The Vivo IQOO is majorly for mobile gamers but could have been better with the camera performance. The camera at the back features a triple rear-facing camera embedded with a 12mp real lens with an f/1.8 aperture, a second 13mp ultrawide lens with a narrowing capacity of f/2.4 aperture, and a 2mp depth-sensing lens with  f/2.4 aperture.

During daylight, the lens captures best shots, but a little disappointed with low-light or nightlight mode due to overexposed, blurred or unclear capturing effect.

    Battery & Performance

Vivo IQOO has a 4400mAh battery with a processor Snapdragon 855 SoC, which is presently Qualcomm’s flagship chipset. The battery and phone performance is efficient for any gaming and surfing purpose. The Turbocharger quickly power-ups the phone in just 1-hour which lasts all day lone.

    PROS

        • Excellent gaming performance
        • Easy storage upgradation
        • Attractive display
        • Flash charging
        • Excellent daylight capturing capacity
        • The Vivo IQOO has the best FunTouch OS and has an upgraded version of Android 9.0 pie

    CONS

        • Underwhelming cameras+ Lowlight blurring
        • Battery life could be better
        • Does not give access to DRM-protected content
        • Fingerprint sensor troubles sometimes

    Conclusion

If you are seeking for a more affordable smartphone with serious gaming features, then, Vivo IQOO is clearly a better choice. This gaming smartphone provides better and all top-notch features such as the software that enables you to play without any interruption. If you can sacrifice a camera over gaming, then Vivo IQ00 is definitely a better choice to consider.

  • Vivo iQOO Neo with Snapdragon 855+ passes through TENAA

Vivo iQOO Neo with Snapdragon 855+ passes through TENAA

Vivo’s iQOO range is supposed to come with a major upgrade in its chipset lineup yet again. Currently, it is going to hold the flagship processor, Snapdragon 855+.

Vivo iQOO Neo with Snapdragon 855+ passes through TENAA

iQOO seems to be developing a specific pattern, mostly in its Vivo Neo range. Initially, Vivo launched iQOO Neo with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and it later launched a flagship model that comes with SD 855 SoC.

The latest version arrived with a lot of smaller upgrades and more powerful SoC, which optimizes faster charging and comes with a bigger selfie camera.

Along with those, the devices are quite much similar to both the hardware and design departments. It seems like the device will come with yet another improved version once again. It will come with the highest SD 855+ SoC.

    About the model

Currently, the device has got the model number V1936AL, which is quite similar to V1936A model number with iQOO Neo 855. It is believed that the device would be titled iQOO Neo 855+. It was listed with 159.53×75.23×8.13mm dimension and weighing 198.5g on TENAA listing.

The overall specifications of the device are pretty similar to other models. They have 128GB storage, 8/12 Gigs of RAM, FHD+ Super AMOLED 6.38-inch screen as well as in-display fingerprint sensor. They won’t have 6GB/64GB models like last ones.

The phone will still have a triple camera setup at the back, with an 8MP wide-angle sensor, 12MP main snapper, and 2MP depth sensor.  It will still be powered by a 4500mAh battery and 33W fast charging support. The version is quite similar to its more powerful successor. Actually, there are only minor changes than its previous version.

But there are still odds that this device is a kind of limited edition or special edition. No matter what, the device will be launched soon as it is listed in the TENAA database.

If Vivo offers the new gaming iQOO device with chipset upgrade even with a competitive price tag and it plays right in its pricing department, it could be a killer thing in the smartphone market. Again, it might have a special or limited edition of some kind with the V1936AL model. A release is quite imminent as TENAA has the listing.
