You can also create battles on your own in scenario builder mode. Most of the game seems to be true to the original and developers have tried hard to do that.

The single-player campaigns have been set in ancient history and a lot of scenarios are set beautifully around 2000 years ago. You can relive some battles of Julius Caesar, go to early Japanese history to fight the battles, and even enter the conquests of Alexander the Great, as campaigns are beautifully set in the backdrop of Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Even when you turn into a lower difficulty, the campaigns are still challenging as you will face the scenario where you can have only a few units at the beginning most of the time. It is purposely done to teach you how some empires were forged and this game successfully does that. You will really love it when you get back to your favorite campaigns, including the Yamato Empire from the Rising Sun, Glory of the Geeks, and The First Punic War.

The game of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition has been designed to recreate everything great from the original and to evoke the feeling of nostalgia. This game is almost perfect in everything. Since the initial Age of Empires entered the arena, the RTS genre has come a long way.

Other Findings

The soundtrack and visuals are unmatched in the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. You will feel how developers worked hard to make the buildings and units look stunning. When buildings are being destroyed, the animation they have worked on is commendable. You wouldn’t stop embracing the detail in every civilization.

Sadly, the water and terrain don’t look that great. But when we look closely, it seems to be more of a purposeful decision of the designers than a loophole. One of the major highlights is its soundtrack which blends in with the campaigns’ themes very well.

Despite all the perfections, we still noticed some bugs, especially when it comes to moving units from one place to another. The units often get stuck and circle around before joining the army. A transport ship was once stuck around the dock and couldn’t move even when there is nothing to block the path and water is all around the ship. You can also create several units in various buildings to go off-limits in population when it comes to reaching the limit.

Despite some minor issues, we still loved the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition the most. There are some things missing in the sequel though. For example, there are no battle formations. Hence, your armies seem to be like a gang of thugs instead of a team of self-motivated veterans. There is also a missing pitch in storytelling. The same voice tells a paragraph of the story when starting and finishing the battle. It is not enough to encourage everyone to get into the campaign.

Even when you successfully trigger some of the vital events in the game, there is still a lack of voiceovers. For example, you can notice a team of Phalanx units standing in a far corner in the last battle of the First Punic War. The scene would be much better if there was a voiceover explaining why they were going to join the Carthaginian army. This is the reason why we were unable to connect to the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition campaigns.

The Multiplayer Section

In this section, the story doesn’t matter but we were expecting that type of experience in the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. Nevertheless, developers have cleared their stand as they wanted to stick to the last game as far as possible. Such improvements may not be suitable for their agenda.

When it comes to multiplayer, there is no change in our experience with what we noticed in a closed beta version. We found most of the servers from the US and Europe. Hence, there were some glitches on the gameplay with our internet connection. Once the game becomes available worldwide, it could be improved well. It is still a center of concern for now. Our experience was fun overall with local play during the closed beta.

All in all, the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition has successfully achieved its goal – giving a completely remastered game to its fans which gives proper justice to its original. But we still feel the missing part of storytelling could make the game even better. The game is extremely awesome, enjoyable, and super easy to play for hours. If you are a die-hard fan of Age of Empires, you must give this game a try. However, newcomers might have mixed opinions with the Age of Empires: Definitive Edition.

How to Get Izanagi’s Burden in Destiny 2

Something that keeps the young minds today hooked to unlimited gameplay is “Destiny 2”. It is nothing but a superbly entertaining online-only multiplayer video game that has been in the trend for quite some time now.

It was initially launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2017, which was shortly followed by a Microsoft Windows version. Destiny 2 is the sequel of Destiny that was launched back in 2014.

During the Season of the Undying, a bug meant acquiring the Izanagi’s Burden was almost next to impossible. There is a forge activity to be completed, and the Izanagi’s burden is essential for it.

The Izanagi’s burden is a handy sniper rifle in this first-person shooter game that is difficult to find and acquire.

It is a powerful tool within the game with all-new abilities like a large health pool, along with the use of single shots that deal with more considerable damage.

The quest to getting this exceptional sniper rifle is both challenging and lengthy.

Mysterious Box

You need to find the Mysterious Box as the rifle is inside this box. The box is hidden outside the Volundr Forge in the European Dead Zone inside a cave on the cliff’s edge to the left side before you jump across the broken bridge.

Keys

Once you have the Mysterious Box, you will need four separate keys to open it. The Butterfly, Hand, Fishhook, and Black Armory keys. These are spread-out all-over Izanami, Gofannon, and Volundr forges, respectively.

Finding the Armory Keys is an even more difficult task to accomplish.

When you enter each of these forges, you will need to keep a close eye on the small drones that fly around the area. You will have to destroy all the drones.

Once you do that, you will receive a notification that you have tempered the forge and will obtain maximum temper buff for it. If you complete this task successfully, you will get the keys after moderating.

The last and final Black Armory key is found in the Bergusia forge and needs you to do the same as before but with a few more steps. Visit Ada in the forge, you will get a Black Armory key mold.

Now there are watchers in the underbelly of the Leviathan raid, and you will have to kill them all. There are two ways to kill them. The first one is to complete the attack with a team normally. The other is to use the switches that are beneath the Leviathan giving you access to the underbelly.

The faster and simpler way is the latter where you rush into the Leviathan and to its switch room in the basement. Just pull the switches in the order 1, 5, 3, 2, 4, 6.

Next, you gather the 200 Glimmering Amethyst by playing chests, and completing or participating in public events. Only then you make your way to the drones that are to be killed.

Completing this forge just like others will land you the final key to the Mysterious Box.

Unidentified Frame

Place all the keys in the box, and you will receive a Mysterious datapad and decryption device. Take these to the Ada-1 tower and complete a black armory bounty. After that, you will receive an Obsidian crystal.

Complete the Shattered Throne, which is an event in the Dreaming City, and you are proceeding to a unique instance in the Pyramidion.

The step gives you its new modifiers, which increase the damage and frequency of the weapons and ammunition.

Gear it up to 650 power level and finish the task. Finally, the Unidentified Radiant Frame is yours. This unlocks the Lock and Key mission on the EDZ. Upon reaching the end of it, you receive an item called ‘Not a Weapon.’

Take this to the Ada-1 tower and exchange it for the Izanagi’s Burden. There your mission is successful.

Pokemon Sword And Shield

In the first week of its release, Pokemon Sword and Shield sold over six million copies to become the fastest-selling Switch game ever. The Pokemon Company announced this via a tweet, which also states that the 6 million figure included both physical as well as digital sales.

The record was previously held by Super Smash Bros., which was also released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2018.

Super Smash Bros. recorded a first-week sales figure of five million copies worldwide.

While Pokémon Sword and Shield now holds the record and is also the best-selling Nintendo Switch game, Pokemon Sun and Moon remains the fastest-selling game in the Pokemon franchise.

Sun and Moon sold a little over 7.2 million copies in the first week of its release alone. Also, the game has sold over 16 million copies in total.

The Controversy Behind Pokémon Sword and Shield

The Pokemon Company announced that Pokemon Sword and Shield wouldn’t consist of a National Pokedex, cutting players off from the rich heritage of Pokemon they have collected from previous games.

The Pokedex, short for Pokémon Index, is a catalog of every Pokemon in the game. As players progress through the game and encounter and catch Pokemon, the Pokedex in the game records the details of the Pokemon.

When the player has caught every Pokemon in the game, the player has ‘completed’ their Pokedex.

Every Pokemon game has a limited set of Pokemon that appear in the game. The games use the concept of ‘generations’ and ‘regions.’ The only way to play with a Pokemon of a previous generation or from another region is by transferring it from another Pokemon game over the internet.

A catalog that has a record of every Pokemon that was ever available to be caught across games is called the ‘National Pokedex.’

Players pride themselves in having completed the National Pokedex and enjoy playing with Pokemon that they’ve caught in other games of the franchise.

“Gotta catch ‘em all.”

Pokemon Sword and Shield, and presumably every other game in the franchise from this point forward, will limit players to playing with Pokemon included in the game only. No more National Pokedex, or the ability to transfer Pokemon across games.

This move surprised fans and sparked widespread controversy, which led them to question the Pokemon Company’s plan going forward.

There are already over 800 species of Pokemon, excluding the ones in Sword and Shield.

The producer of the game, Junichi Masuda, stated the growing number of Pokemon species as a reason for the removal of the National Pokedex.

In the same interview, Masuda also addressed fans’ concerns over the quality of animation of the Pokemon featured in the game.

Masuda also states that he and his team have not decided whether the game will incorporate more Pokemon post-launch.

The move has left Pokemon fans with a bad taste in their mouths.

In spite of the controversy over the National Pokedex, Sword and Shield surprised critics with record-breaking sales figures.

Will the franchise stay true to its fans? Only time will tell.

PlayStation Plus update: PS Plus news is big win for Titanfall 2 on PS4

Following Sony’s recent announcement, dozens of new players joined the servers. A few weeks ago, we heard that Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross would be the last free PS4 games of 2019. Both the games are available for download from the PlayStation Store. All you need to enjoy this PlayStation Plus update is an active PS Plus account. Although Titanfall 2 is not a new game by any means, it received great reviews when it was first released in 2016. However, being a victim of bad release timings, we never got to see if it would have managed to maintain its popularity. Games like Call of Duty were released approximately around the same time. This didn’t help Titanfall 2 at all.

Even when the game’s single-player mode came into being, its popularity didn’t increase as the developers had hoped. After this attempt, Respawn Entertainment started focusing on other games. For example, Apex Legends and Jedi Fallen Order were more popular among the players. The free updates for Titanfall 2 will not have planned free updates like before. Still, players would still be able to experience what is available with extra people.

After Epic Games extended the season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2 till February 2020, this has become one of the longest-running seasons in the game. Destiny 2 Players Spent Weeks Grinding to End the Dreaming City’s curse

With three new subclasses, well-made campaign, and a lot of amazing activities which have been the base of existing game, Destiny 2 started to hold the ship with the arrival of Forsaken expansion. The first year was quite full of ups and downs for the players. After completing the Last Wish and Riven raid, the Dreaming City zone was evolved where the players experienced.

It has changed a bit within three weeks with look and feel, featured enemies, and certain unlocked features, such as the dungeon of Shattered Throne. The cycle starts the grind one year later and players started wondering if it will end.

When the Last Wish raid was first finished in Destiny 2 by Team Redeem, the curse cycle of the Dreaming City was started. It also revealed the endless Curse of 3 weeks. Later on, the cycle starts once again within the next 3 weeks. Since Forsaken, it has been continued and there is no actual news as when it will end finally. There is still lack of official announcement regarding this for Bungie. There are also rumors that the true end of curse cycle might happen with Shadowkeep.

When Dreaming City curse will actually end?

If you are not a kind of Lore person but a lore reader, you might have heard it earlier. Bungie has officially announced with Shadowkeep that there will be no Power Cap and players can go endless in Destiny 2 with Power Level. In Forsaken, it says the following statement when it comes to Truth to Power Lore.

“You bring another battle trophy Medusa before Rahool? Post-Foreboding, Pre-Collapse is a covert intelligence which has been designed to keep track on high-risk mission. Let me decrypting her to you.” He issues a lot of tokens for you, a rare shader, fusion rifle and a letter. The letter speaks, “Defeat Dûl Incaru and achieve Light Level 999 in one-person team to unlock the ideal end of Dreaming City.”

The idea behind breaking the curse of The Dreaming City to enable the game to move ahead also matches with the plans of Bungie for the Season of the Undying. In the final blog of Director’s Cut teased by Luke Smith, each season will consist of a specific situation which will be fixed by the end. It will also help create a new situation for the next season.

It will be nice to see how it shows players as who will ultimately acquire Annual Pass or the ones who might miss the entirety or part of the season. Bungie hasn’t announced if or how it adds players who come later.

This lore entry is a trickery and lie by Dûl Incaru. But what if we are going to have the real ending of the curse of the Dreaming City? It could be the reason in Shadowkeep behind no Power Cap. What do you think in this matter?
